EXPERIENTIAL DESIGN // CANNES LIONS 2023

PROJECT OVERVIEW

– Led creative direction and developed a wide range of assets for Yahoo’s 2023 Cannes Lions beach and hotel suite experiences.
– Managed a team of designers, copywriters, motion artists and developers. Worked alongside multiple brand partners, agencies, vendors and talent.
– Attended the event onsite to manage load-in, production crews, and attendee check-in flows.
– Captured photography of the event and talent. Filmed and edited promotional video content.

Creative assets included:
Overarching creative thematic and event branding, Yahoo Beach installations, Yahoo Suite spatial design and decor treatments, deadmau5 concert activation, digital communications, web design, social assets, promotional videos and montages, magazine ads, DOOH ads and printed materials (menus, handouts, swag).

DEADMAU5 CONCERT ACTIVATION: The team commissioned 100 deadmau5 replica helmets that attendees could wear and take home with them. The goal was to create an energetic concert atmosphere and boost buzz across social and the Cannes Croisette.

Congrats Yahoo team for one of the smartest and most beautiful activations at Cannes this year. It was stunning.
